  • Number Sense – Count numbers by 1’s, 2’s, 5’s and 10’s, add and subtract numbers to 20, represent money amounts to 20 cents
  • Measurement – Tell time to the nearest half-hour, compare objects using measurable attributes and non-standard units
  • Geometry – Recognize symmetry, classify 2D and 3D shapes by various attributes
  • Patterning – Create and extend repeating patterns
  • Data Management – Organize objects into categories, interpret graphs and pictographs, describe how likely it is that an event will occur
  • English

  • Oral Communication – listen in order to understand and respond appropriately to a variety of situations, such as following simple directions in a group
  • Reading and Media Literacy – use knowledge of words to read fluently, read and understand different types of texts, such as rhymes and simple fiction books
  • Writing – generate and organize ideas to write for an intended purpose, such as a personal recount of a past experience
